Founded in 1958, our club is a proud part of this community and of Rotary International. Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million members who believe that great things happen when dedicated minds come together. We are community and business leaders representing different professions, experiences, and perspectives but with a shared desire to connect with others to address the challenges affecting our community and communities around the world.
The Rotary Club of LaGrange has been working with various partners on the following projects:
Secret Santa Gift Program - providing gifts for 800+ children in need during the holidays.
Mental Health Initiatives - working with community organizations to bring awareness of mental health issues and services to those in need.
Small Schools in Honduras - partnering with the Small Schools Project and Rotary clubs in Honduras to build kindergarten classrooms.
Operation Pollination - inspiring people and organizations in the LaGrange area to include pollinator plants in their gardens to help replenish the bee and butterfly populations.
Our club is a proud supporter of The Rotary Foundation and contributes to the End Polio Now Campaign, partnering with The Rotary Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF to end polio, once and for all.
Our major fundraiser is the Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary on Thanksgiving Day.
